However, I changed it up a bit in that instead of using icing to hold the crumbled cake together, I used the Jameson ganache. Then created the creme filling by dropping half teaspoonfuls of the Baileys icing onto a plastic wrap covered cookie sheet and putting them in the freezer, before forming the cake balls around them.
Once the cake pops were formed and chilled, I drizzled green candy coating around them just to give a little pop of color. I wouldn’t suggest completely dipping these in candy coating as I find it to be too sweet and take away from the flavor of the pop.
